Group hypnosis

Group hypnosis has very limited uses due to personal differences within individuals. Different people go into trance at different rates, they have different motivations behind the problems, and may have objections that are not dealt with by the suggestions used. In short, people are individuals and need to be treated as such for effective treatment.

Group hypnosis can be effective when used for guided meditation work, some general suggestions, or reinforcement of prior work, but will not be as effective as individual hypnosis.

 

In therapeutic applications, it is the same as using a CD or audio file.

However, when applied to entertainment…. Stage hypnosis can be great fun.
